Who knew 2020 was going to turn out like this? Nobody! So many were excited for this year. Alot of couples were going to celebrate their love in front of friends and family. Some were starting new goals. There were others who were ready to take on the world. I was very excited for this year as I have a thing for even numbers then forget about being it symmetrical number at that!
But this pandemic came and it’s still around, nothing is back to normal yet. We’re progressively getting back, little by little here in NY. It’s unfortunate but we’re in a new normal. I miss the moment right before guests would arrive and we got to see the finished design. At that moment the flowers would bring beauty, fragrance and life into the space. There’s this immense feeling of love. My team and myself feel this each time we design for our couples.
Now micro weddings are trending and I’m all for it. I don’t blame these couples for wanting to get married now, they just want to be with their person. “Love is not cancelled”, now more than ever love is needed.
Several trends can be still used in your Micro wedding. Garlands of flowers and greenery are often used for mantels, doorways, handrails and arches. You can still use a garland for your table where you and your closest friends and family will sit.
Another trend that we love are elevated Harlow Stand arrangements. In a micro wedding you can definitely still use Harlow stands in you ceremony and afterwards on the dinner table in your petite nuptials. Still having the beauty you envisioned for your beautiful day.
