Sunflowers, Roses and Wine Corks

We've been preparing for a another bridal show, it's been busy. But I wanted to share the arrangement that I did for a wine party. This wine tasting party was extra special because it was for my husband and it was his big "50". I treated this party as if it was an event that Evelisa Floral & Design was hired to do and needless to say my husband saw me in action lol. I designed everything and I hired other vendors to help make his 50th something he would never forget.
My husband's favorite flower is a red rose. When we were dating that's all he would give me and today when I see a red rose I think of him. He has learned that there are other flowers that are also beautiful lol. The flower arrangements for this party had to have red roses but still go along with the wine tasting theme I didn't want it to look like a Valentine's day party. The time of the party Sunflowers became in season and that meant they were at an economical price.
So I combine the red roses with the sunflowers and as fillers/greenery I used eucalyptus. So not only did it look beautiful it smelled good and refreshing. Also to top it off I incorporated wine corks for the tall cylinder vase.
The other arrangements were on different tables that contained either food or where the Wine tasting was. Those were simple there were just red roses in smaller round vases. Each table had a white tablecloth except for the one that had the large arrangement. The company I hired for the wine tasting was amazing, I definitely recommend Let's Talk Wine for any event, Lea was great.
