Hey lovelies, I know it’s been a while as this wedding season was super busy for us and I’m still learning how to balance everything. My business, mommy duties, wife duties, sister duties, being a daughter and giving self care which definitely was & currently not easy.
Today I wanted to talk about Bouquet styles and the most common ones we’ve seen. It all depends what you love and which represents your style best. I’ve had Brides who loved everything and they were just excited for the big day so I had to narrow it down to see which one best fits them. We do this by having a consultation and having a chat and then creating a Pinterest board that we can both view. They’re are also Brides who know what they want in every detail which is cool too. Then our job is to provide the best experience and create floral designs & decor for the big day.
The Round Bouquet is one of the most common bouquets we’ve created. It’s all about the shape in this bouquet. The flowers we usually use for this type of bouquet are roses & peonies. We can definitely use other flowers because it’s all about the dome shape. To me this bouquet is traditional & classic.
This style bouquet can be a statement piece all on its own. It’s a waterfall of flowers that elegantly drapes down. Typically we use orchids for this specific bouquet as they naturally have that shape. But in the 2nd photo we didn’t use orchids but used various flowers: ranunculus, calla lily, seeded eucalyptus, rosegold fillers. This bouquet is super elegant and can be traditional as well.
This bouquet is a small bouquet that mainly uses flowers barely no greenery. This bouquet can be used by Bridesmaids and even Brides. It’s definitely a popular choice as well. Carrying a bouquet all day if you ever ask a past bride can be very heavy but a Posy Bouquet is a great alternative to still get a beautiful bouquet with a huge impact.
This past wedding season this was our most popular bouquet. This bouquet incorporates various flowers and different greenery usually put together with ribbon or twine. This style is very Whimsical and Rustic. It gives a feeling that these flowers were just cut straight from the farm/ field and given to the Bride. I love that feeling.
This perfect round ball of flowers is another classic style bouquet that can be held with a ribbon or even pearls as seen in the photo below. We’ve created these for flower girls and can be designed for a Bride as well.
