Using A Trellis for Decor

Hey, Happy Friday!

Today I'm going to write about using a garden trellis as decor for your event.  We just used garden trellises for a wedding.  They were perfect because they fit into the theme the couple was having.  The two trellises marked where the bridal party and the couple was going to enter to the ceremony area.  They contributed to the entire decor of the wedding along with the chandeliers.  We discussed the Floral Chandeliers in our last entry, to read about it click here. It really added to the look of the wedding, then they were transferred to the reception and we put them right by the Sweetheart table.  Take a look below.

We love using the Garden Trellises because they are so easy to work with.  We spray painted them with an Ivory they were originally black and rusted.  I got them at a garage sale for $10 for both of them.  That day I was so excited; I was thinking what a steal, let me hurry up and put them in my car before the previous owner changes their mind lol.  Once I had them in my storage I started to experiment with them. The trellises can be inserted into any pot or grass.  Then decorate the top with anything like more flowers, ribbons, vines or even lights!

This picture below was at the Great Bridal Expo at the Marriot Marquee in Times Square but I used the Trellies to help create an ambiance at my booth.  I used potted ferns then at the top I used roses, hydrangea and ruscus. To read about the experience click here

Below are more photos of Garden Trellises.  Don't they look beautiful.

I love this Trellis above because it is being used as a seating chart and it's simply decorated.  Sometimes simple is best.

What do you think of using a garden trellis for an event?
