Hello everybody today is the first day of spring but here in Yonkers, NY or NYC it's snowing lol. I think it's pretty funny but this year winter has been very harsh but it almost looked like we were in the clear but old man winter doesn't want to leave. In the last couple of days I started to see Crocuses growing. Crocuses are usually the first flower to start growing when winter is finishing. I got very excited when I saw this. This means Spring is coming.
Crocuses fully bloomed
It doesn't look like that yet well now especially with snow currently falling. But today is the first day of Spring. Which means a new beginning. Where the sun is out more and it starts to warming up little by little. On a personal level to continue working hard to be able to receive opportunities to progress as an individual. To "spring" to the next level little by little.
I've even started to grow tulips indoors. I took out my tulips from my garden to keep them from being eaten by the squirrels. I work really hard on my garden so I could use the flowers on special arrangements for events, weddings or any special occasion. These specific tulips bulbs I forgot to put the color on the bag but I put the date and the location I took them out of. It's going to be a nice surprise to see them bloom in my office. (By the way stay tuned to the progress of my office in the next post). The bulbs started to grow in the ziploc bag so I decided to take a few out to put in a vase.
You see they are eager as I am for spring to start. I have two big ziploc bags filled with tulip bulbs but they are in the dark in the garage. And it's colder there so they are not growing like these.

I put some stones in the vase first. Then I placed the bulbs in the glass vase with some sprayed water. Let's see if they continue to grow strong. I would love to see what color these bulbs are.

Now I will look at these tulips with hope and inspiration to continue. They are currently on my desk, in the mornings I get a lot of sunlight so they could absorb some light and warmth. Right now I look up through the window and see the white snow settling on the trees and bushes. But I have these tulip bulbs on my desk with lots of love.
