A special little girl requested that she have a corsage for a special event. This special girl was my daughter along with her date which was her father/ my husband. They both asked me on the day of the event which was the Father Daughter Dance. I've been prepping for Valentine's Day which is very big and a lot of people usually wait for the last minute to order their love ones flowers. So I've been trying to prepare for this day.
I usually have flowers in my studio luckily I had the color that matched my daughter's dress. I feel having flowers in your home gives warmth and beauty so if I don't have some in my studio then they are usually in my kitchen. So I took out all my ribbons to see which one she would like and some accessories. She of course chose the pink ribbon with the bling accessory. She is definitely a girly girl and I love it.
I got everything together and realized that I didn't have no more corsage wristlets! I remember I used them all in my last event that I did. I didn't panic I had oasis glue and ribbon. I attached the flowers to the ribbon. I also used wire and floral tape which definitely did it's job. The wire and floral tape helped hold everything together. I covered the wire and floral tape with ribbon then I attached the ribbon in 2 different spots on the corsage so that the corsage would stay in place. And BAM! I finished the corsage. For being last minute and having a minor setback, I think I did ok.
What was important was that she loved her corsage and that she had a great time and both were accomplished.
